Apple plans to use Sony’s 13-Megapixel Exmor IMX220 Camera Sensor in iphone 6

Apple is planing to use Sony’s 13-Megapixel Exmor IMX220 Camera Sensor in its upcoming iphone 6. The Exmor IMX220 features a 13-megapixel, 1/2.3” sensor and can record videos in 1080 p. Apple already use Sony’s camera sensors in its iphone range cell phones Camera sensor currently use in  iPhone 5s is 8-megapixel, 1/3.2” sensor. 

iphone 6 will 5.5″ and the overall design  is also thinner than the iphone 5S. May be Sony use sensor IMX220 20 Megapixel in its upcoming Xperia Z3.
