Microsoft launched the Surface 3 fitted with Windows 8.1 and some beefy specs. It is the first of the original Surface lineup to not run Windows RT, to the applause of most Microsoft fans.

Having full Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 can be upgraded when it launches. Should be a big seller for customers worried about the full desktop experience. The only worry now is hefty professional applications and video games will not run well, but at least there is the option.

To lower the costs to $499, Microsoft has decreased the screen size and resolution to 10.8-inch, 1920 x 1080 display as compared to the Surface pro 3. The Surface 3 also runs on Intel Atom, a low grade processor that has started seeing some adoption on mobile.

PC applications will not run on the Surface 3. There should be enough power to run most of the common apps and more than enough for web browsing.

Office applications will not come pre-installed. A small price to pay for having a wider selection of PC applications readily available, instead of being locked away because the platform won’t allow them to be downloaded.

Intel put his Atom Z3735F Bay Trail processor and with a microSD card slot if you want to squeeze more capacity into the device. Other connectivity includes full-sized and micro USB ports, Bluetooth 4.0, and 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi. Unlike other sticks, Intel’s can’t currently be powered through HDMI, relying instead on the micro USB port to charge it.

Today, Google completely change its email inbox service with ‘Google Now’. This is more than an inbox email with all new modification in almost everything in inbox. This works only on specific systems like Chrome Browser on web , iOS 7+ and android 4.1+, there is  completely change look and fast.

on Mobile

The basic idea is this: it’s still a Gmail app, but instead of giving you the traditional list of emails, it tries to intelligently give you more information so you don’t have to even open them. Google Now-style info cards appear right in line with your message list, including things like flight times, package tracking, and photos. An  Assists feature attaches relevant information, such as telephone numbers, opening hours and maps, to your reminders and emails.

Alex Gawley, product director of Gmail (and now Inbox), says that he and his team wanted a “fresh start” that wasn’t burdened by the 30 years of baggage that underlies email. “The world has changed a lot since it was invented,” he says, but more importantly it’s changed a lot since Gmail itself came on the scene 10 years ago. So Inbox was designed “mobile first,”  to use that already tired term, and isn’t yet available on tablets.
