Currently Google translation is available for 90 languages, You just put your mobile/device in front of sign/text and it will capture an image then you just need to highlight the desire text area, it will show you the translation into your required language even when you are not connected to Internet.

This Camera Mode: Snap a photo, highlight the text, and get a translation. Currently available in from English to and from French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.

You can also translate by real-time voice translation just by speaking and it will answer you in your target language. This update is also more speedier than its previous version.
